Double Talk

Funny stuff.
My, you've been a busy little writer of late! Interesting thoughts, I don't disagree with them.
But I worry.
Despite your impressions of Palin and with knowledge of her political background and personal family woes, her presence may well prove a powerful punch.
I don't like her either. I don't like her super conservatism and how she misrepresents herself. And yes, her demeaner rubs me the wrong way. But from the perspective of many Americans (and afterall, many Americans react with their guts and from visual perceptions), her toughness may have a strong appeal. Many women out there want to see women politicians as tough as the men. And for the prospect of having a woman in high office, they may overcome other reservations about her.
Obama has a very tough fight ahead.
